Aquatarianism: A way of life where one does not consume any land-based foods; only water-based foods such as fish and sea vegetables from both salt and fresh waters.
Although there are levels of dedication one may use while living this lifestyle and each level will experience various benefits, the greatest benefits are achieved with strict adherence to the following principles...
An Aquatarian Does:
Eat most types of wild caught fish
Eat most types of wild grown sea vegetables
Drink spring water
Drink seawater
Eat sea salt
Practise various types of fasting
Exercise regularly
Sun bathe regularly
An Aquatarian Does Not:
Eat shellfish such as shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels, lobster, crayfish, scallops or crab
Eat certain fish with higher mercury than selenium levels such as swordfish, kingfish, tarpon, Chilean sea bass (aka Patagonian toothfish), pilot whale and shark
Eat bottom-feeder fish such as carp, catfish, sturgeon, flounder or sucker fish
Use land-based seasonings or ingredients of any kind
Drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs
Take medication of any kind including birth control
Use mainstream personal care products such as hair dye, sunblock or deodorants
Use flavored or scented products

Our philosophy is to be a naturalist and source all our foods and personal care products from the ocean as much as possible.
